If you’re a client/family on my waitlist (which means you completed your initial paperwork), you’ve come to the right place for updates and considerations.
Estimated Time
Having a waitlist is my least favorite thing- I really dislike having to tell people they need to wait when they are ready to begin treatment. However, I am honored you are placing your trust in me, and I take that very seriously.
As noted in an email, your wait is completely an estimate- I can’t know officially when I will have spots open. Most of the time I am pretty accurate with estimated times, however, many factors of the past couple of years have resulted in more variables. Thank you for your patience. I have developed a rough system that allows you to check back based on your confidential assigned color to see where you are on the list.

Resources While You Wait
- First, check out my “Get Unstuck” guide which overviews 10 key things covered with me in therapy.
- You can consider reading reputable information depending on what you’re seeking therapy for. I have curated pages on my website to help:
- OCD & Anxiety– including my “bookshelf” and other reputable websites
- Blog with 120+ articles, 30 subtopics, and 7 categories.
- Christian intersection of faith and treatment
- General mental health resources
- Speaking and upcoming events
- Are you considering medication as part of your journey? If so, or if you just want to consult, check out any of my go-to clinicians under “Other Treatment Options.” You can always get started and/or get a specialist if this is something you want to do.
- If you have OCD, consider taking an online course from one of my colleagues, Nathan Peterson or Kimberley Quinlan. It’s not therapy, but it’s great education that you’ll mostly need in your therapy- you’ll save time, and money, and can likely do some things already! Also, go to “Other Treatment Options.”
Sincerely yours,
