Common Pitfalls in ERP 4 OCD (Presentation with Q&A)

Description:

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD is gold standard treatment. However, successful outcomes are dependent not only on both appropriately applying the evidence base, but also utilizing effective strategies when detours and challenges arise. This talk is a deep initial overview that looks at some of the most common pitfalls- along with solutions and approaches to help sufferers break through.

Objectives:

1. Quick overview on OCD and Effective Treatments (Spoiler: ERP).

2. Identify research-based roadblocks to effective ERP.

3. Identify solutions to address these common pitfalls.

4. Q&A will facilitate personalized application.
